ReplyDeleteIt is great to see that you have been practicing your typing skills this year in class. I can see from your blog that you are working on improving your speed. When I was younger the only way that I could improve my typing skills was by practicing (a lot!). If you would like to practice your typing skills over the summer, please consider joining the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) blogging programme. It is a great way to practice your typing and to earn cool new things over the break! There are about 600 students participating in the SLJ so far this year and we're having a lot of fun!
The SLJ is open every day over the summer until Friday 25 January 2019. It's completely free. This year the topic of the SLJ programme is the world around us. We are learning all about this amazing country that we call home, New Zealand, and about issues related to the environment. There are 60 different activities for you to choose from this year. They can all be found on our Summer Learning Journey programme website (www.summerlearningjourney.co.nz) under the 'Weekly Activities' tab. The activities are divided into four weeks (15 activities per week). Feel free to check them out and to choose one that interests you.
To complete the activity, you can post your answer here on your blog. Our team will read your post and provide a comment. We will also give you points and come back at the end of the summer with prizes for the top bloggers at Saint Pius X school. We have some pretty cool prizes this year!
